Do you ever wonder why dogs love the beach?

Or is it the water itself that draws them there?
Whatever the reason, your pooch will surely have a great time on the beach in the Capel region.
The Capel region has many off leash exercise areas however, there are rules when you use these areas in the Shire of Capel, including having ‘effective’ control of your dog.

Effective control means your dog:
- Responds to command
- Does not jump on other park users
- Does not show signs of aggression
- Be able to restrain
- Always in sight of the owner
