Starting at Lions Park, the trail winds its way through some of Boyanup’s most significant heritage sites, telling the stories of the town’s early settlers through a series of interpretive signs.
Follow the trail along the southern side of Bridge Street, before turning onto the South Western Highway. A safe pedestrian crossing leads you to a short detour where three fascinating story panels line the western side of the highway, offering a glimpse into the past before looping back to the main trail. The path continues southward, ending near the former CWA (Country Women’s Association) rooms, an iconic building rich in local history.
Trail markers and signage guide your journey, with most interpretive panels visible from a distance, making it easy to explore at your own pace.
Feeling like a different view on the return trip? You can either retrace your steps or loop back via Simmons Street and Thomas Street, taking in the quiet charm and relaxed atmosphere of this lovely country town.
